Additional protection comes through using three steel shields, all 2mm think, the outer 2 are manufactured in tough stainless steel,the external one being satin polished to give a durable and attractive finish to the lock system. The innermost shield is manufactured from armour-plated steel which acts as a hidden barrier. The whole assembly is secured within the door panel by two bolts and special high duty locking nuts.

That's a total thickness of 6mm of tough and weatherproof andti-drill steel.
